This beautiful Wax Snap Front Hanna Hat is made in Donegal, Ireland. Wax hats are made of cotton then coated in wax to keep moisture out. Two little vent holes are on each side of the hat.

David Hanna Snr founded of Hanna hats in 1964 which is when the first Hanna hat was made. This Hat took 4.5 hours to create and was called "Hanna Hat" no. 84.
David Hanna was always open to visitors in his workshop. Today you can visit the family run business that is currently owned by his granddaughters Amanda Jane & Eleanor Hanna. These two have a commitment to providing quality hats and drive Hanna Hats into the future.
